On April 15, 2026, in Valencia, a collaboration agreement was formalized between the cultural project of profigurative socialization, led by our coordinator Fidel Molina-Luque, and the Valencian Association of Sociology (AVS), represented by its president, Diana Jareño-Ruiz.

A strategic partner: the AVS

The Valencian Association of Sociology is an entity with a history dating back to 1979. Its main mission is to promote, develop, and disseminate sociology studies, research, and teaching in the Valencian Community, functioning as an open, multidisciplinary, and critical meeting space. Through this agreement, we incorporate the experience of its members in areas such as social research and collaboration with universities and other public or private organizations.

Boosting the profigurative perspective

The core of this collaboration is the development and dissemination of the concept and cultural project of profigurative socialization. This theoretical approach highlights the need for a change in mindset to establish a new social contract based on:

- Altruism toward current and future generations.

- The importance of love, solidarity, and dialogue.

- Education, sustainability, and the culture of care as fundamental pillars for building a better present and future. 

Working areas and objectives

Both entities have established a generic and flexible collaboration framework to develop joint actions in areas of mutual interest. The key points of the agreement include:

- Lifelong Learning: Development of projects and activities aimed at the general public,

- Resource Exchange: Sharing experiences and technical, human, and material resources for the proper development of the agreed activities.

- Visibility: A mutual commitment to guarantee the presence and participation of both entities in dissemination and communication media.

This agreement has an initial duration of four years, with the goal of working together on projects that contribute to the benefit of the community.
